These authentic encounters offer a genuine glimpse into rural mountain life.

The scenery is serene and majestic, embodying the unique charm of Vietnam’s remote highlands. While the trek is moderately challenging, expect a few adventurous stretches including slopes and stream crossings that add to the experience. The total hiking time is approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Bid farewell to your hosts and set off toward the legendary Dong Van Karst Plateau, one of Asia’s most remarkable geological parks. Today’s journey takes you along winding mountain roads and through towering limestone massifs—an unforgettable stretch offering some of the most awe-inspiring scenery of your trip. Jagged peaks and dramatic rock formations stretch endlessly into the horizon, making this drive a visual feast at every turn.

Several enriching stops await along the way:

• Lung Tam Village – Visit a cooperative of Hmong women preserving traditional linen-making techniques. Witness the full process from flax cultivation to weaving and dyeing, and browse an array of beautifully crafted textile goods inspired by ethnic motifs.

Upon arrival in Trung Khanh, visit the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall—widely considered one of the most beautiful in all of Asia. Nestled between Vietnam and China, these majestic falls are also among the largest transnational waterfalls in the world, ranking alongside Iguaçu, Niagara, and Victoria in grandeur. Upon arrival in Ninh Xuan, begin your visit at Mua Cave (Hang Múa). Climb the 486 stone steps winding up the mountain to reach a spectacular viewpoint.
